Prospect Hit Sheet: Spring Training #1
“We’re BACK with our weekly hit sheets. Hear about the hottest hitters in the MiLB first.”
By Sal Corso: February 27th, 2025
It feels like we are flying through the winter at this point. We’re one week into spring training and that means our Prospect Hit Sheets are BACK. Each week of the 2025 season we’ll provide a quick synopsis on the prospect performances of said week. Check back on our Prospect Hit Sheet category (which you can find directly on our home page) and follow the playlist on YouTube.
Let’s break down week 1. The players highlighted in the table are detailed below.

Player [Upside Score] (Likeliness)
1. Travis Bazzana [TBD] (TBD)
We haven’t gone in-depth on Travis (yet). We should and will. I’m not going to give him an Upside Score and Likeliness rating until that day.
2. Cole Carrigg [71] (MED)
Numerous call-outs from 2TB on Cole. One dating back two years:
2023 Bowman Draft Sleepers (Dec 2023)
3. Robert Hassell III [76] (LOW)
The 2020 Bowman Draft legend. Bobby Barrels has been up-and-down throughout his career. At 23 years old and 4 years into his professional career, it’s make or break time.
4. Chandler Simpson [74] (MED)
We had the pleasure of seeing him live last year in high-A. This kid is impressive. The fastest player in all of baseball, possibly any team sport. And he’s making a statement. This was my favorite comp I’ve seen:

5. Enrique Bradfield Jr. [74] (HIGH)
We covered Bradfield as an MLB-ready prospect that the Orioles should trade for an SP. I think that’s even more true today as he’s displaying this potential against MLB talent this spring. If he’s not dealt, he’s still making his case to be on the major league roster on opening day.
