The second of thirteen, yes, THIRTEEN prospect interviews from our trip to the Arizona Fall League.
I got to speak with College 2 Chrome favorite Jared Thomas before the Glendale Desert Dogs vs. Salt River Rafters AFL game. We talked about his transition from college ball at Texas to pro ball, staying in touch with a former Rockies star, what it was like to return from injury and play in the MiLB playoffs, and his development goals for the AFL and 2027.
Not included in the interview: Thomas taking Braves lefty farmhand Briggs Mackenzie deep for a two-run homer. Jared is getting more and more comfortable at the plate and will be ready to make a push for the big leagues in 2027.
